Though it may seem far away, spring is just on the horizon and while we wait for those warm sunny days we bask in the warmth of giving back at Koi.  Spring into action for autism at our first event for 2009 ~ Fashion for a Cause ~ on Saturday, March 14th, festivities start at 6pm.  Join us for a fashion show featuring the much anticipated Vera Bradley spring collection paired with our new spring looks from Shoshanna, Betsy Johnson, Johnny Was and much, much more in store now.  All proceeds from ticket sales to the event and a portion of our sales all week leading up to the show will be donated to the Autism Education Foundation of the MUJC to help provide educational and therapeutic programming to support children with autism.

Also new in 2009, we’ll be carrying Eve Pearl, make-up line to the stars, created by Meredith Viera’s personal make up artist ~ look for an upcoming visit from the make-up guru herself or just come on over and see for yourself with a consultation from Koi’s own make-up artist, Aileen. 

As for the must-haves this season, spring is trending toward a nautical feel with emphasis on rich blues, Kelly greens, and vibrant pinks.  Pair your favorite Vera Bradley or Big Buddha bag with a great pair of William Rast jeans and Boy Meets Girl eco-friendly tee, just the right dress down look for a Saturday at the soccer field. Easily transition into a night out at the wine bar with a sexy, yet sophisticated, Autumn Cashmere sweater.  And don’t stop there, accessorize with our Dru shoes, Catherine Canino date bracelets, and scents from Mor. If you have any questions regarding pulling it all together I’m here
